Hi steve. A friend of mine has a print farm of sorts and saw one of your clocks that I made. He was wondering if you were open to allowing the selling of premade clocks (yours) for a percentage, up to 30 or 40% on Etsy or ebay. I told him I would ask for him, so here I am

Hi steve. I was just wondering what was the purpose of removing grease from ball bearings. I was wondering if it was all right to use them greased for the first 6 months and then eventually change them to non-greased ball bearings

Hi steve! I successfully finished the clock but I am having major problems that I suspect are related to friction. The escapement sometimes stops, not the pallet, as in no power is being transmitted to the escapement. Any ideas about what I should do? Another problem I am having is sometimes the pendulum stops when the escapement still has power. Thanks for all your help. Any clue where and how I should minimize the friction?

Hi steve. Sorry to bother you again but I am running into issues again. I just finished printing the weight shell but when I fully pack it with a combination of slingshot ammo and BBs, the weight is barely over 4.7lbs. I had 2 questions: Is it alright to operate at this weight with no downsides? If there are downsides, do you have a recommended filler? I am in the US if that helps

Hi, steve! It's John again! I was almost done printing the small pendulum clock from myminifactory and was having some problems with the fitting of the gears on the arbors. To clarify, I am having issues with gear7-24 and gear7-48, the rachet. My 2.15" 1/8" stainless steel tube is not fitting inside the gears so I was planning on slightly increasing the width of the hole but was wondering if the gears, or a single gear, are supposed to fit tight or be loose on the tube. If it is supposed to be loose or tight, does that apply to other gears as well?

Hello Steve! My name is John and I am a 15-year-old who is very savvy about 3d printing. I have been 3d printing for about a year now and decided to make your original clock, the small pendulum clock. I just had a couple of questions: Do tolerances matter a lot? I have an ender 3 s1 and have had some problems with elephant foot and was wondering if I needed to get that fully dialed in before printing everything. Does the length of the wire matter a lot as well? I saw that the music wire had to be a certain length and was wondering if it was alright if it had a tolerance of 1/2 inches or so. Is it okay to cut the tubes and arbors with a hacksaw? My family doesn't own a lot of expensive tools, only basic ones, so all I have is a hacksaw for the cutting of the tubes.
