Steve does your patron membership allow selling the printed clock? I have several friends now and too many
family members wanting a clock. I tell them, they have to buy me the filament to make it. But since Ive retired I thought
of making a little side money. But I don't want to cross any lines. I'm only now understanding the whole "Patron" thing of what you can and can't do.
Thanks for asking, but there are no commercial licenses on my clocks right now.
I have been following the model of most wooden clock designers. As far as I can tell, every single designer (Clayton Boyer, Brian Law, WoodenTimes, etc.) releases their designs under a personal use only license. The default MyMiniFactory license is also non-commercial use.
I will look into a more open distribution model for my clocks, but I wouldn't want it to turn into someone mass producing thousands of clocks per month.
