Steve,
Please can you advise, I have completed the Moon Clock and runs fine, the beat is perfect.
However, it was running fine for a few days, then the minute hand started to stop moving.
I have increased the strength of the spring to give more friction but to no avail.
It's driving me crazy, all the gears spin freely and pendulum swings O.K , I'm at a loss what to do next.
Hope you can Help.
Many thanks
Alan
Good to hear. I should expand the section in the manual about debugging this issue. The central arbor has the most parts stacked up, so it seems to have the highest probability of causing issues.

Steve,
All works fine now, I think the issues was clearance between gear 5 and 6 as you suggested.
All friends and family who see the clock are amazed and give lots pf WOW's
Many thanks again
Alan
My first guess is to double check the pre-assembly steps. The critical checks are the ones for gears 5 and 6.
Also, look for end shake on the central arbor stack. There are a lot of components. If the slicer or printer "rounds up" on all the sizes, the entire stack can be too tall and will be pinched by the frame.
