discrepancy in docs vs stl files

ahh, yes, the assembly pics part numbers do indeed match the numbers in the stl download; it is just the table on page 20 that does not match (large silent motor driven clock)

Thanks for noticing the discrepancy. Yes, there are typos in the gear names. I spend dozens of hours writing and proofreading the assembly guides but copy and paste errors still creep in from previous releases. The print times and filament used are accurate. The number of gear teeth in the table are from an early prototype before the final release.

I will edit the file when I get a chance. You should still be able to build the clock. Gear 2 is still gear 2, even if it is listed as gear2_54_15 instead of gear2_84_20. The diagram on page 25 is accurate.

The assembly guide has been updated with the gear name fix and a few cosmetic edits. It usually takes a few days for new files to appear in the zip file and pdf files do not seem to show up under "object parts". You can download it from https://www.stevesclocks.com/sp9
