Sorry for the late reply. I stopped getting emails for new entries.
75% scaling would reduce the mass of the balls to 42%. The only way to get it to work without re-designing it would be to use balls that are 2.4X denser. Lead is only around 1.25X denser. Options include gold, tungsten, or depleted uranium. None of these are feasible.
A re-design to release balls 2.4X as often would be required.
