Large Gear clock ratchet slip
Hi. I have made 3 of the large gear clocks and 2 moon phase clocks. A couple of them when I'm winding them, the ratchet gear slips and the weight will drop a little. I'm not sure what is causing this. Thanks so much for any help. Thanks! Bobby

It's probably the winding cord walking up the sloped ends of the drum and collapsing back down. Guide it back towards the center of the drum when you wind it to see if that is the issue.
