yes your right. the friction is such a pain. I wish it had been done with metal arbors instead of the plastic towers. I tried even adding the addition of the tail gears, but then it wouldn't even turn. Went back to the first design. I did the silicone on the gears and gear towers and added all the way up to 50Lbs! and still wouldn't move. It just looks pretty lol.... but everyone that comes over loves your clocks especially the desk clock. So I printed 10 of them to give to family and friends. But not until I work out the quirks. Probably should have printed 1 at a time.
