Rolling Ball Clock
Is there any reason why a hardwood dowel wouldn't work instead of the steel tube down the center of the spiral? All our pipe here in Canada seems to be metric and won't quite go into the spiral pieces but the dowel I have fits perfectly. Cheers

Iam using 15mm copper tube, works great. upscale the the 15mm files by 1% in X&Y fits perfect.
