Crazy clock minute and hour hands don't change
Hi Steve, I've been running the crazy clock for about a year and but now although the second hand works fine, the minute and hour hands don't change. Could you suggest where the potential problem is likely?

There are a few different crazy gear clocks. If it has a second hand, you must be talking about one of the desk clocks.
Here are a few ideas. Check every gear for end shake, especially the central arbor and the friction clutch arbor. Look from the side to see if any gears have warped and are interfering with other gears. Check the set screws on the friction clutch. Follow the gears from the second hand to the minute hand to see if you can identify the first gear that is not moving.
