Rolling Ball Clock - Motorized Ball Lift
I have been experimenting with different motors and speeds. I found this gear motor by accident, seems to be a popular 12 volt gear motor and cheap. Well built and strong.

It comes in various speeds, I tried the 30 rpm - it takes about 90 seconds to transfere a full rack of balls and the process is very noisy. Would require a timer or switches.
I tried the 1 rpm motor and really like it. It takes 12 minutes to lift a ball, the clock drops a ball every 20 minutes so timing is great and quiet, no motor noise at all just the sound of the balls droping and rolling. I think the 1/2 rpm motor would work with the new gears. I run the motor continously, it is cool and silent. Easy to attach, modified auger in Orca slicer, I did draw a new top cover to mount the motor but it probably can be modified with Orca also or manually cut down and drilled.
