SP5B Test
So I took the pendulum off the clock to allow the gears to run fast with the weight. And they didn't. I would spend the escapement gear and it would stop in a few seconds. So obviously there is bad friction somewhere. I took the whole clock apart checked everything put it back together fund the escapement gear and again it wouldn't go for more than a second or two. So then I started thinking about the frame and I loosen the frame quite a bit and sure enough everything started spinning crazy. So either I have the metal rods too short or too long as something is causing a friction that bad for nothing to turn. Here's a video showing when I loosen the frame as you can see in at the bottom screw is quite a ways out in order for it to finally spin.

It was the center stack. After shaving down both pieces a tiny bit I finally had a touch of play. So far it's running in 32 day mode for about an hour now on 7lbs. I'll see how it goes over night. Thanks again Steve for your help and insights.
