Show and Tell

Hi Steve, I just wanted to thank you for the pleasure I have enjoyed whilst constructing a couple of your designs, namely the Electronagnetic and Coup Perdu models.

They both run beautifully and are accurate to about 30-45 seconds in 24 hours with further tuning still ongoing. The care and attention you put into their design is obvious. I have kept the Coup Perdu version running because the escapememt is something a little different from the norm. I had no problems getting it to run nicely other than the flipper adjustment, but even that was relatively simple. I also found that I had no need for the coins, the weight of the battery pack is ample, this has the additional benefit of keeping the noise level down to very acceptable levels.

I attach a couple of photos of the clocks, I'm afraid I am a little more conservative in my colour choices than you and other builders but I hope that I've done your designs justice. ( Lunar phase wall clock next !!! )
