Steve, with the matterhackers filament, did you follow their recommended 50 degree bed temp? I just had a few small parts come loose during the printing process (Prusa mk4)...

Steve, actually I am confused re which of the jumpers do what and where they should be to set the speed and direction of the stepper motor...should all jumpers other than those specific ones be removed when not debugging? thanks

do I assume correctly that you will provide dxf files for this clock? I wonder if 3/8" would be strong enough for the weight gears?

just reprinted hour and minute hands with 5 instead of 14 perimeters and still a very loose fit, so loose that shaft cannot drive hands

well, full print failed even tho test was ok...prusa tech support suspects the piece is shifting slightly near the end and suggested a higher bed temp and thorough cleaning of bed to address that, sigh

Prusa says monotonic results in a homogenous pattern with no ridges...

I did run a cylinder test. actually 2 of them...the first one showed the same problem as did the dial. For the second test I changed the infill top from monotonic with lines to just monotonic, and that print was perfect...so am trying the dial again with that change.

yes, MK3S, but it is failing belt tension tests; need to tighten x and y belts, which is a PITA...did you have a chance to peruse the file I sent?

brand new mk4 factory assembled, belts are tight, using the latest slicer with it...it is just something really odd happening only on the last few layers before the color change for the numbers...all the gears printed fine as did the back frame; just the dial is a problem

Steve, here is the slicer file, wonder if you see any anomalies near the end of the first color change around 12:10 or so?

ahh, yes, the assembly pics part numbers do indeed match the numbers in the stl download; it is just the table on page 20 that does not match (large silent motor driven clock)

oops, was referring to your new large silent clock aka motor driven desk clock, with the arduino nano...

should have noted this is still on the macintosh...

ahh, I tried loading the sketch instead of copy and paste , and it compiled fine. rtc library loaded ok too, I think, But when I upload the program to the nano, the serial monitor does not show anything other than the text "cnc shield v4 clock movement rev 1.05"; it does not display the info you show in your documentation e.g., speed, steps, etc
